Administrative Intern for Academic and Student Engagement Team (Fall Semester)

Work independently and as a part of a team to research and track engagement of various student and academic programs as they support the CPA pipeline.  Internship will provide individual with experience in project management, research and survey applications, and data management.



Pipeline Engagement Research (80%):

  • Execute project to track the progress of former program participants through CPA licensure utilizing research and survey methods
  • Research ADS and Fellowship alumni
  • Assist with development of plan to engage program participants to respond to outreach
  • Update and maintain database to record project findings
  • Prepare report of findings
  • Perform other duties to support the area activities as needed  

Educational and Programs Research (10%)

  • Research various two and four-year college/university accounting programs
  • Create database of various scholarship, grant and fellowship listing sites and update with AICPA program information
  • Perform other duties to support the area activities as needed

Administrative (10%)

  • Assist with general administrative tasks for the Academic and Student Engagement team as needed
  • Create and maintain digital archives of scholarship and research materials


  • Strong organization and prioritization skills
  • Strong  interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Experience using web browsers (internet) for research purposes
  • Knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Excel, Access and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to document, interpret and report data
  • Excellent analytic and problem-solving abilities
  • Creativity in problem solving
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Must exhibit a professional demeanor in dealing with various individuals at all levels of the organization and community


  • Pursuing an undergraduate degree in business or related area
  • Entering junior year or higher of college in fall 2019
