Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required

  • Ability to think holistically, analyze and synthesize data. 

  • Ability to think strategically; ability to recognize relationships and implication of different initiatives and the opportunities or conflicts they might create; ability to create new and more effective ways of doing things.

  • Excellent project management and interpersonal skills. 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate with staff at all levels of the organization

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of applications, including Word, PowerPoint  and a high level of proficiency with Access and Excel (i.e. pivot tables, macros, etc.

  • Strong business acumen

  • Strong analytical skills including data analysis, modelling, data mining, etc

  • The ability to find meaningful patterns in data, and translate those patterns into insights and recommendations for action.

  • Ability to retrieve information from a variety of sources, using a variety of approaches, viz., discussion, documentation review, data and system analysis

  • Ability to work cross-functionally and collaboratively to gain insight and influence decision making

  • Ability to deal comfortably with both tactical and strategic issues

  • Ability to prioritize effectively

  • Some travel may be required.

Required Experience, Qualifications & Education

  • 3-5 years of experience in business analytics, data analysis and statistical analysis

  • Direct experience with tools associated with relational databases (i.e., Oracle, SQL)

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Economics or other relevant field

Preferred Experience, Qualifications & Education

  • Master’s degree

  • Hands-on experience with business intelligence and data visualization tools such as Tableau, SAP, Business Objects, etc.)
