Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required
  • Strong organization and prioritization skills
  • Strong  interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work smoothly and effectively with senior management and maintain alignment with AICPA strategic priorities
  • Ability to work with little direction in environments requiring structure and accountability; ability to take initiative on handling requests and inquiries
  • Ability to create effective programs and communicate the benefit to key audiences
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
  • Ability to evaluate initiatives and projects
  • Ability to work with members of the Students, Academics & Inclusion team in support of approved programs and encourage strategic alignment across multiple programs
  • Must exhibit a high professional demeanor in dealing with various individuals at all levels of the organization and community
  • High degree of customer service including the ability to problem-solve effectively
  • Proficient in current office technology to successfully perform duties
  • Ability to work in a team environment with changing priorities
 

           Required Experience, Qualifications & Education

  • 3-6 years of work experience in/with communications, marketing, academic advising or other related field
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, marketing, communications or related area
     
    Preferred Experience, Qualifications & Education 
  • Previous experience in academic funding or foundation work
  • Knowledge and/or experience in accounting education and / or in the accounting profession
  • Experience in association management
