KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
  • Superior oral and written communication skills - both technical and creative/promotional proficiency
  • Ability to learn quickly and operate within a fast paced and changing environment, work under pressure, meet tight deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously and autonomously
  • Proven writing capabilities in a variety of formats, including C-suite communications, memos and plans, organizational communications, related FAQs and other collateral materials, and PowerPoint presentations
  • Experience developing and implementing marketing and communication plans for a range of projects and initiatives using multiple forms of mass and social media. 
  • Proven success at  developing and cultivating  business relationships, partnerships and alliances internally and externally; developing a broad base of relationships by seeking individuals inside and outside of the organization
  • Experience planning and implementing senior level communications on a wide range of topics. 
  • Ability to synthesize and communicate large amounts of information quickly and accurately to a wide range of audiences.  
  • Has working experience communicating accounting practices, trends, and regulations; able to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations
  • Uses professional expertise and business experience to influence and persuade a wide range of audiences on issues important to the profession
  • Extensive experience in developments and trends related to structuring use of time to developments and trends related to the organization's current and potential future uses of the World Wide Web, the Internet, Intranets, Extranets, etc.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint; and Social Media
  • Risk Recognition or Management
  • Strong organization and prioritization skills
  • Ability to maintain confidential information

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED 
4-6 years’ experience in related field

EDUCATION REQUIRED 
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION PREFERRED 
Masters’ degree preferred
