Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required

Knowledge of various web platforms with the ability to execute content edits.

Strong organization and prioritization skills

Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

Ability to work smoothly and effectively with senior management and maintain alignment with AICPA strategic priorities

Ability to work with little direction in environments requiring structure and accountability

Ability to create effective programs and communicate the benefit to key audiences

Ability to maintain strict confidentiality

Ability to work with members of the Academic and Student Engagement team

Ability to exhibit a high professional demeanor in dealing with individuals at all levels of the organization, community and CPA influencers

High degree of customer service including the ability to problem-solve effectively

Proficient in current office technology to successfully perform duties

Ability to work in a team environment with changing priorities

Ability and willingness to travel up to 10%
Required Experience, Qualifications & Education
-
2-4 years’ experience in/with communications, marketing, journalism or another related field
-
Experience in program management
-
Awareness of accounting education and / or in the accounting profession
-
Experience in association management or not-for-profit organizations
-
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism or related field.
