About the Role:

You will support the Global Accounting Alliances (GAA) CEO as an important member of the GAA Secretariat, working with a large network of partners. You will report to the Director - Global Alliances. This is a remote-friendly role.

You Will:

  • Plan and attend GAA Board meetings, arrange meeting logistics; draft meeting materials and minutes, manage Diligent meeting software and follow up on action items. Diligent software knowledge required is minimal.

  • Coordinate and attend bi-monthly virtual meetings between the GAA CEO and the WG Chairs. Help with pre-meeting, during meeting, and post-meeting functions.

  • Record the progress of the WG against their workplans, perform research relevant to the workplans. Ensure the collection and distribution of WG reports, workplans and budgets

  • For WG special events, manage the end-to-end process to deliver the event, including with the venue, guest speakers and attendees. Attend the event and take notes.

  • Work with external finance teams to ensure all financial documents are prepared and submitted to the appropriate office and that vendors are paid.

  • Communicate with (external) company secretary to ensure all corporate legal matters such as filing of board minutes, motions, additions/resignations of board directors are recorded.

  • Using WordPress software maintain content on GAA website. Manage external providers for more complex changes. Respond to inquiries received through the website.

  • Manage GAA’s social media posts and online presence, including drafting content.

You Have:

Bachelor’s degree, or combination of high school education and 3+ years relevant experience

4+ years of business experience preferably in accounting profession, international affairs or communications

The annual salary range for this role is:  $65,000-$76,000
