About the Role:

You will support the Association's Global Alliances team in implementing our strategy and representing the US accountancy profession internationally. You will report to the Director - Global Alliances. This role is 100% remote.

You Will:

  • Support the Director, Global Alliances by working with and managing relationships with the following international accounting organizations: IFAC, CAPA, ICAC, IRCC & GAA. Collaborating with their staff, conducting research, drafting agreements/MOUs and letters. Support the Director with meeting and presentation preparation.
  • Coordinate the distribution of gathered information to internal staff by preparing a monthly Global Alliances Team report, and a quarterly Team Activity report.
  • Schedule and participate in quarterly meetings with our teams to exchange and gather information, assist other teams to meet their performance goals, and coordinate collaboration opportunities with other professional accountancy organizations. Take meeting notes and follow up on action items.
  • Respond to requests to host delegations from foreign PAOs, government agencies, and universities. Prepare the program agenda, arrange internal and external speakers, lead the meeting, manage meeting logistical arrangements, take notes, follow up on action items, and report out to relevant partners.
  • Help manage a good relationship with National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) staff and International Qualifications Appraisal Board (IQAB) volunteers. Help recruit our members to serve on IQAB; and as they conduct their IQAB responsibilities.
  • Help evaluate Mutual Recognition Agreements (MRA) partners; schedule and participate in frequent virtual meetings, draft and negotiate MRAs; and draft executive summaries to obtain AICPA Board approval of new MRAs, MRA renewals, and extensions. Respond to information requests from existing and potential MRA partners.

You Have:

  • Bachelor's degree or combination of high school education and 3 years relevant experience, plus

  • 4+ years of business experience in accounting profession, international affairs, or communications

The Annual Salary Range for this role is: $65,000-$76,000
