Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills and ability to manage stakeholder in different locations and work as part of one Association Finance Team
  • Team player with focus on collaboration
  • Ability to meet reporting deadlines under pressure.

  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Intermediate to advance MS Excel skills to analyze data and create reports
  • English language fluency.

Required Experience, Qualifications & Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field, or a partial professional qualification (ACCA/CIMA/CPA/MIA, etc.).
  • 4+ years of experience in General Ledger operations in GBS or SSC environment.
  • At least 2+ years’ experience in Financial Reporting, IFRS and Accounting especially in global markets
  • High understanding of General Ledger accounting processes, including Fixed Assets, Intercompany, Cash and Bank Reconciliation
  • Ability to manage the general accounting function and deliver process enhancements (General ledger maintenance and closing, Fixed Asset inventory maintenance, intercompany, and account analysis / reconciliation processes)
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (IFRS)

Preferred Experience, Qualifications & Education:

  • 1-2 years’ post-qualified work experience in handling End to End operational finance work
  • 2-3 years Big 4 Audit firm experience is a plus
  • Experience in using an ERP system (Oracle, Siebel CRM system)
  • Audit experience and knowledge of IFRS or US GAAP will be an added advantage.
  • Experience in IFRS adoption and implementation
