Summary of Role

Manage recruitment for the Asia Pacific region to ensure that recruitment and selection activity occurs within time and budget.  Manage the full recruitment cycle including inputting into process improvement

 

Accountabilities & Responsibilities

  • Partner with Managers to provide an efficient and effective recruitment service including:

    • Initial scoping of the requirement

    • Candidate attraction,

    • CV collation & shortlisting

    • Scheduling assessments (scheduling and set up of rooms, collating and printing of interview documents, welcoming candidates) and attending interviews if support is required.

    • Feedback to candidates

    • Offer and on boarding

  • Coach and guide managers on the most efficient and cost effective recruitment methods and negotiate fees with recruitment agencies and advertisers, ensuring expenditure is in line with departmental recruitment budgets

  • Manage the selection of providers for services within the Asia market, particularly recruitment agencies, advertising agencies and recruitment media partners, working with the Manager-Recruitment.

  • Strategize to recruit top talent, ensuring expenditure is in line with departmental recruitment budgets.  Advise managers of the most efficient and cost effective recruitment methods, advising on innovative sourcing.

  • Advise managers during lifecycle of recruitment, providing guidance on timescales, selection and assessments, through to feedback and offer / decline.

  • Works in conjunction with HR Business Partners and the Compensation team to ensure all job titles, job descriptions, salary benchmarks are accurate before recruitment

    • Consult with line managers regarding salary offers within the salary management guidelines, escalating anything out of remit to the HR Business Partners, the Manager- Recruitment and the Compensation team as appropriate.

  • Compile assessment material and tools, including development and creation of competency/behavioural based interview questions

  • Advise the HR Business Partners regularly on recruitment activity within their directorates and/or Regions, escalating areas of concern in a timely fashion.

  • Work in conjunction with HR Business Partners and Recruitment Manager to ensure all job descriptions, recruitment processes and candidate selection methods are globally aligned

  • Provide timely information to the Manager-Recruitment including developing and monitoring recruitment analytics.

  • Assist in the development and creation of effective recruiting collateral to support the Association’s employee value proposition.

  • Perform other duties as required.

Required Experience, Qualifications & Education

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent
  • Ideally 4 to 6 years related experience including recruitment, assessment and selection

  • Experience with on-site or internal recruitment
  • Proven experience in design and delivery of competency based interviewing

  • A strong customer focus and the ability to proactively engage in constant improvement
  • Experience designing and delivering assessment centres, including role plays, presentations and group exercises

Preferred Experience, Qualifications & Education

  • Relevant qualification in recruitment and/or HR would be advantageous but not essential.

  • Recruiting experience within a global setting
