Accountabilities & Responsibilities

  • Working closely with and under the direction of the professional practice team, performs review and analysis of public company ESG disclosures utilizing manual and AI-based search methods
  • Attend professional practice team meetings and provide work updates
  • Listen to public company auditing-related meetings or events and summarize reports internally on relevant information 
  • Complete administrative tasks as needed

 

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • None

 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required

  • Elementary knowledge of the US accounting and auditing regulatory environment 
  • Basic understanding of auditing, financial, and/or sustainability principles 
  • Motivated to learn, take on and complete data gathering assignments
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Possess verbal communication, presentation, and writing skills 
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills  
  • Ability to set project due dates and work well under time constraints
  • Ability to work effectively in Microsoft Office suite including Excel

 

Required Experience, Qualifications & Education

  • Undergraduate junior or senior actively working towards a Bachelor in Accounting or an individual pursuing a Master in Accounting 

 

The CAQ team is currently working remotely, in-office and/or in a hybrid environment. This internship can be entirely remote. We will welcome you to join us in the office or stay remote, as you are most comfortable.
