Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required

Ability to work on long-term projects as well as fast-paced, deadline-driven assignments while maintaining quality.

Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal skills.

Strong organizational and analytical skills.

Ability to edit dense, highly technical material on topics such as auditing, data analytics, tax law, and personal finance.

Knowledge of publishing style manuals; specifically, deep familiarity with The Chicago Manual of Style.

Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Ability to work in both a team environment and independently.
Required Experience, Qualifications & Education

Bachelor’s degree in English or related field

3-5 years experience editing technical, professional, or learning resources for a wide array of delivery formats
Preferred Experience, Qualifications & Education

Accounting or business education a plus.

Publishing or learning background a plus.
-
Familiarity with British publishing conventions and style guides, including Oxford Style Manual and The Economist Style Guide.

Experience working with external production vendors.

Experience working within a global organization.

Highly adept at communicating with authors, technical reviewers, and other stakeholders
