About the Role:

Provide leadership and strategic direction to the global Enterprise Applications team to ensure the technologies are aligned with the Association's strategic priorities and goals. The role will interface with the key Information Technology (IT) Strategic partners and business stakeholders to ensure organizational goals are met. This role will report into VP- Information Technology.

You Will:

  • Provide direction on the application technology strategy, aligned to the Association’s strategy. Develop methodologies and practices for the application life cycle management in line with best practice standards
  • To Lead and build a structured operating cadence for your team that ensures quality, timeliness in delivery responsiveness, efficiency, and adherence to business needs. Manage team capacity closely, finding the balance between project initiatives and general ticket support
  • Primary IT owner of all Business Enterprise applications, developing a roadmap to address cross-functional process improvement, tech debt management, and unlocking further functionality within the Member Platform to help drive revenue for the Association.
  • Partner closely with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders on various tech-enabled projects initiatives that drive revenue, operational efficiency, and scalability.
  • Assist in the creation of the annual overall operations budget for all OpEx and CapEx related expenses related to enterprise applications.
  • Implement the Enterprise Application technology governance framework and advisory structure to introduce new technologies and to establish best practice policies and procedures, aligned to operational & strategic decisions.
  • Partner with IT Security and Compliance in ensuring the best development and application security practices are created and sustained to reduce the IT audit findings.
  • Accountable for the governance of all integrations between various business applications, including a full understanding of what data flows between systems and how data is leveraged.

Required Experience:

  • Minimum 8 years of technical leadership experience managing cross-functional application teams · Experience working with Salesforce, Oracle Financial Systems, and other SaaS systems.
  • Experience in Agile methodologies, DevOps and CI/CD
  • Experience in developing coding standards in a well-structured, and easy to maintain format
  • Experience with front-end and back-end development such as Node JS, REST and SOAP-based web services
  • Knowledge of object-oriented concepts and development experience with design patterns.
  • Understanding of relational databases
  • Experience in leading global teams
  • Undergraduate or postgraduate degree in computer science, engineering, finance, business management or a related field.
  • Expert level knowledge of software development lifecycle practices, and design methodologies.
  • Expert level knowledge of Enterprise Applications and their related architectures.
  • Advanced level knowledge of integration technologies
