Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required

  • Mastery client relationship management
  • Strong experience working with Board of Directors, volunteers and executive leadership
  • Demonstrated experience in leading large and complex programs
  • Understanding of membership associations, accounting profession, and professional services
  • Strong verbal, written and presentation skills and an ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with colleagues, teams, AICPA members and staff at all levels of the organization.
  • Travel (~20%) required to attend meetings and other various functions
  • Understanding of governance structure, objectives, goals and the functions of the major teams
  • Understanding of web based technology and relational database technology
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Required Experience, Qualifications & Education 

  • Significant experience with previous experience in a leadership role and interacting with high profile stakeholders
  • Sound planning horizon experience


Preferred Experience, Qualifications & Education 

  • CPA, CGMA, CAE or CGI accreditation preferred
