About the Role:

The DAS Product Owner manages Dynamic Audit Solution (DAS) development team activities and resources. You will be an important contributor to the transformative, cloud-based audit software that uses data, technology and a revolutionary new audit methodology to enhance audit quality, guide efficiency and provide insights.

You Will:

  • Reporting to the Senior Director Product Management, you'll work with DAS subject matter experts to help understand and create the vision of what the DAS product will be
  • Lead coordination between DAS subject matter experts and scrum teams to help develop content and features
  • Oversee all user stories around important areas, such as risk assessment, internal controls, sampling, etc
  • Manage the pipeline of content delivery to the scrum teams to help ensure a smooth flow of material over time to avoid bottlenecks.
  • Use UI/UX designers in the process to ensure the best user experience and look-and-feel
  • Present the work of the DAS scrum teams and other product features to partner groups and different internal and external audiences
  • Be a DAS expert in multiple areas of the DAS application, methodology and technology
  • Guide and help implement the creation of creative content and designs to promote a transformative, data-driven audit
  • Coordinate with software partner and cloud-based solutions on important product dependencies and timelines for functionality.
  • Provide onboarding support for new development team members including sharing of relevant materials and support in accessing and navigating the DAS application and the CaseWare Cloud SE platform
  • Create and author accounting and auditing content (e.g., "documents", "smart checklists", other) into the DAS application using authoring tools, applying the methodology content and technical designs.

You Have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Management Information Systems/Computer Science
  • You have experience at a public accounting firm in transformation/innovation initiatives or audit data analysis. Excitement and passion for changing the way auditors work is also a necessary attribute.
