Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required
  • Familiarity with developments and trends related to Information Technology (IT) and an ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to benefit and increase the efficiency of Association operations, products, and services.
  • Demonstrates an awareness of successful negotiation concepts and techniques, as well as, an ability to negotiate successfully across the organization and with external vendors in a constructive and collaborative manner.
  • Demonstrates an awareness of the concepts and processes needed to 1) plan, organize, monitor, and control projects, 2) ensure efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources, and 3) create and manage project plans to achieve project objectives.
  • Work experience performing tasks and identifying efficiencies related to approaches, tools, and techniques for anticipating, recognizing, and resolving technical (hardware, software, application or operational) problems.
  • Work experience related to initiating and facilitating organizational change and transformation.
  • Work experience related to the practices, tools, and techniques for communicating with customers, understanding the organization's policies, standards, and procedures guiding customer interactions, and increasing awareness and appreciation of individual and cultural differences.
 

Required Experience, Qualifications & Education

  • High school Diploma
  • At least 4 years of experience in a windows IT service desk environment.
     
    Preferred Experience, Qualifications & Education
  • Multiple IT Technical Certifications (A+, MCSE, ACMT, CCNA, VCP, etc.)
  • ITIL v3 Foundation
  • Bachelor’s degree
