KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED    
  • Manage and develop a technically capable team across multiple locations and time zones.  
  • Ability to think holistically, analyze and synthesize data
  • Ability to think strategically; ability to create new and more effective ways of acquiring and mining data for meaningful insights
  • Ability to provide consultative guidance, insights and recommendations on data analytics findings to internal stakeholders and ensure learned insights are converted into actions
  • Ability to conceptualize and integrate other sources of data and information (e.g., survey, secondary research) into report and/or presentations that convey insights and conclusion
  • Ability to lead programs of activity, independently and as part of cross-functional teams focusing on delivery of organizational strategic initiatives and KPIs.
  • Advanced level of knowledge of data analysis and visualization principals, methodologies, and techniques utilizing myriad data sources, internal and external to the organization
  • Communicate the importance of visualization when developing and maintaining BI dashboards to appropriately and effectively communicate across the enterprise.
  • Be able to articulate the benefits and weakness of statistical and Business Intelligence toolsets and data visualization and their appropriateness for the organisation
  • Applicable and practical knowledge of Azure Data Lake, Oracle Data Warehouses. Microsoft PowerBI and OBIEE tools sets.
  • Ensure tools are delivered at the Enterprise level, minimizing duplication and maximizing automation to enable a focus on analysis and providing insight.
  • High level knowledge of data privacy and security practices in data management and data transfer, suitable for a global organisation with customers and data in the US, EU and elsewhere.
  • Demonstrated skill at structured thinking and decision-making: ability to develop and leverage frameworks to structure team thinking, facilitate alignment on key strategic decisions across stakeholders, and reach insightful, productive, actionable answers
  • Skilled at deconstructing highly complex problems into actionable items and sharing these with impact.
  • Skilled at creating analytic and written documents; ability to blend both narrative and visual components into high-quality presentations to high-level audience
  • Skilled at translating and communicating technical jargon, concepts and data into laymen's terms for stakeholders that are actionable, informational, or support the decision making process
  • Ability to set and change priorities amongst multiple competing constituencies
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects
  • Ability to establish and manage positive partnerships with internal customers and vendors
  • Understanding of business processes of the stakeholder and ability to leverage this knowledge to ensure that projects and support activities delivered meet the needs of the stakeholder
  • Some travel may be required.
    EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
  • 6-8 years of experience in business analytics, data mining, or data and statistical analysis
  • Demonstrable experience of the production of predictive and prescriptive analytical models
  • Prior experience providing consultative guidance and recommendations to stakeholders
  • Prior experience leading professional and engaging presentations for high-level stakeholders
EDUCATION REQUIRED
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Analytics, Business, Marketing, Economics or other relevant field and/or combination of experience
  • Experience in a consulting or research vendor environment
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION PREFERRED
  • Master's Degree in Data Analytics
  • Knowledge of public accounting, finance, or consulting industries
