Lead Manager - Personal Financial Planning
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required
- Extensive ability to pursue and cultivate business relationships, partnerships and alliances internally and externally; leveraging network relationships to gather market intelligence and maintaining organizational relevancy.
- Strong communication skills with an ability to communicate complex information into easily digestible material.
- Extensive ability to use professional expertise and business experience to influence and persuade a wide range of audiences on issues important to the profession.
- Extensive knowledge of existing accounting and credential methods, tools, markets and market-related initiatives from the perspectives of the competition, the member base and the regulatory environment; able to apply this knowledge appropriately to remain relevant with AICPA's specialty credentials advantages.
- Expertise in using business process improvement tools and techniques to understand, monitor, update, or enhance existing business or work processes.
- Knowledge of one or more of the following accounting disciplines: Personal Financial Planning (PFP);
- General knowledge of the regulatory and standards landscape
- Familiarity with assigned accounting discipline subject matter and the typical CPA client relationship
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to travel on a frequent basis
- Minimum of 6-8 years related experience
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
Preferred Experience, Qualifications & Education
- CPA
- PFS or related credential
- Active in Association and/or State Society
