Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required: 

  • Self-starter, strategic thinker and strong results orientation
  • Ability to apply high-level knowledge of adult learning theory and best practices in learning content creation
  • Ability to influence without authority and collaborate cross-functionally in a matrix organisation
  • Critical attention to detail
  • Ability to foster and maintain positive relationships
  • Advanced blended learning experience design skills
  • Able to identify and adopt evolving trends to best inform learning design decisions
  • Strong, articulate oral and written communication skills including presentation skills
  • Knowledge of design thinking methods in learning and user experience design
  • Data fluency and analysis
  • Knowledge of commercial learning products
  • Knowledge of industry standard learning technologies (i.e. serious games, virtual learning platforms, LMS, graphics programs, rapid development tools)
  • Ability to perform through change, adversity, uncertainty
  • Digital and learning technology skills

Required Experience, Qualifications & Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, education or psychology
  • Minimum 5 year of experience in learning design
  • Design thinking experience with learning solutions

Preferred Experience, Qualifications & Education: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Visual or Human Centered Design
  • Experience in learning design in a commercial learning environment
  • Accounting and/or finance subject matter expertise in at least one of the learning curriculums served, such as A/A, Tax, Ethics, EBP/Government, Valuation/Forensics
