Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required

  • Understanding of examinations and assessment within an educational context (ideally professional and/or vocational qualifications)
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills
  • Time management and organisational skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Highly developed analytical and problem solving skills
  • Able to lead and direct teams to deliver agreed outcomes and to meet challenging objectives
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Team working skills
  • Clear customer focus skills

 

Required Experience, Qualifications & Education

  • Degree or equivalent qualification/experience
  • Understanding of assessment principles and methodologies
  • Proven experience of developing high stakes assessments within an awarding or professional body
  • Experience of developing e-assessments
  • Experience of managing auto scored and human marked examinations
  • IT literacy (intermediate to high)

 

Preferred Experience, Qualifications & Education

  • An accounting background – part/fully qualified
  • Experience of working with committees
  • Experience of working with regulated qualifications
  • Project management experience/qualification
  • Ability to use a CRM/database
  • Knowledge of the core MA/CIMA products
  • Budgetary skills
  • Experience of working to KPIs
