KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
- Strong technical knowledge within the profession (assigned subject matter varies)
- Ability to develop high quality and timely products under tight deadlines and with resource constraints
- Ability to develop and leverage a network of prominent professionals for use in product development
- Ability to work collaboratively with regulatory stakeholders, standard setters, internal and external subject matter experts and influence decision-making where appropriate.
- Skilled in managing cross-functional groups including promotion of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
- Solid leadership skills in managing people including promotion of collaboration, innovation, excellence and entrepreneurial spirit
- Strong, articulate oral and written communication skills including presentation skills
- Availability for travel on as-needed basis.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Minimum of 5-7 years’ combined experience in public accounting/management accounting and learning product development
- Demonstrated ability in meeting budgets and deadlines, and growing revenue
- Ability to lead self-motivated and empowered project teams
EDUCATION REQUIRED
Bachelor’s degree
CPA license, CGMA credential, or equivalent
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION PREFERRED
- Masters degree in Accounting or equivalent degree
- Demonstrated experience and expertise in scoping and developing content and multi-format products, in a successful manner (e.g. timely, on budget, high quality), for learning and competency development of the profession
- Knowledge of intellectual property law, copyright and best practices in author contracts and agreements
- Any combination of these:
- System and Organization Controls (SOC)
- Emerging technologies (cybersecurity, robotic process automation, artificial intelligence, and blockchain)
- Forensic accounting
