Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required

  • Strong technical knowledge within the profession, specifically accounting and auditing standards, ERISA and DOL reporting requirements, and employee benefit plan auditing
  • Ability to develop high quality and timely products under tight deadlines and with resource constraints
  • Ability to develop and leverage a network of prominent professionals for use in product development
  • Knowledge of intellectual property law, copyright and best practices in author contracts and agreements
  • Ability to work collaboratively with regulatory stakeholders, standard setters, internal and external subject matter experts and influence decision-making where appropriate.
  • Skilled in managing cross-functional groups including promotion of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
  • Solid leadership skills in managing people including promotion of collaboration, innovation, excellence and entrepreneurial spirit
  • Strong, articulate oral and written communication skills including presentation skills
  • Availability for travel on as-needed basis
Required Experience, Qualifications & Education
  • Minimum of 5-7 years’ combined experience in public accounting/management accounting and learning product development
  • Significant experience performing audits of employee benefit plans
  • Demonstrated ability in meeting budgets and deadlines, and growing revenue
  • Ability to lead self-motivated and empowered project teams
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • CPA license

Preferred Experience, Qualifications & Education

  • Masters degree in Accounting or equivalent degree
  • Demonstrated experience and expertise in scoping and developing content and multi-format products, in a successful manner (e.g. timely, on budget, high quality), for learning and competency development of the profession.
