Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required
Self-starter, confident with entrepreneurial aptitude, and ability to manage multiple projects of notable complexity and risk under tight deadlines
Business acumen with a market focused approach to business, and understanding of what drives product profitability
Market research and analytics experience with problem solving mindset
Ability to execute strategic initiatives
Ability to develop and leverage a network of prominent professionals for use in product development
Ability to analyze research and data to identify trends informing product development
Strong, articulate oral and written communication skills including presentation skills
Required Experience, Qualifications & Education
Minimum 5-7 years’ experience in product development including:
- Experience and ability in identifying, scoping, and launching new products in a successful manner (e.g. timely, on budget, high quality)
- Experience in meeting budgets and deadlines, and growing revenue
- Experience managing relationships with prominent professionals
Bachelor’s degree
Preferred Experience, Qualifications & Education
Experience developing products and services for a membership-based professional association and global audiences
Understanding of product development and scheduling for multi-format professional, technical, and learning products.
Product development experience serving the accounting profession
Demonstrated understanding of the accounting profession
CPA or CGMA designation
