Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required

  • Self-starter, confident with entrepreneurial aptitude, and ability to manage multiple projects of notable complexity and risk under tight deadlines

  • Business acumen with a market focused approach to business, and understanding of what drives product profitability

  • Market research and analytics experience with problem solving mindset

  • Ability to execute strategic initiatives

  • Ability to develop and leverage a network of prominent professionals for use in product development

  • Ability to analyze research and data to identify trends informing product development

  • Strong, articulate oral and written communication skills including presentation skills

     

Required Experience, Qualifications & Education

  • Minimum 5-7 years’ experience in product development including:

    • Experience and ability in identifying, scoping, and launching new products in a successful manner (e.g. timely, on budget, high quality)
    • Experience in meeting budgets and deadlines, and growing revenue
    • Experience managing relationships with prominent professionals
  • Bachelor’s degree

 

Preferred Experience, Qualifications & Education

  • Experience developing products and services for a membership-based professional association and  global audiences

  • Understanding of product development and scheduling for multi-format professional, technical, and learning products.

  • Product development experience serving the accounting profession

  • Demonstrated understanding of the accounting profession

  • CPA or CGMA designation
