The Manager – Sales Training will be a hands-on team contributor who thrives on shaping others for success. The role will work directly with business development and is responsible for identifying  requirements, scoping, developing, and executing selling skills programs. Taking on the leadership role in developing the winning pitch strategy and coaching the Client and Partner Services Team.

What you’ll do:

* Develop from scratch and lead the sales training strategy for the B2B sales teams.

* Have full ownership for content design and delivery of our onboarding training and continuous professional development across the commercial sales teams.

* Gain a deep understanding of our products and services and coach our sales team to communicate our product features and their differentiators to suit client needs.

* Work closely with the Sales Leadership Teams to not only ensure our training interventions support and drive appropriate skill development but also identify any gaps in knowledge discovered through training.

* Build partnerships with cross-functional SMEs and stakeholders to translate that information into relevant skills training.

* Conduct one-to-one coaching to identify skill gaps and recommend and deploy appropriate interventions.  

Who you are:

* Experience creating sales training programs and materials and deploying appropriate learning strategies.

* Understanding of account management best practice including developing client relationships, service level management, solution development and goal setting.

* Ability to conduct a needs analysis including use of data and root cause analysis to pinpoint issues within a sales process and remedy with targeted interventions.

* Ability to drive change and increase tangible revenue results with sales coaching.

* Proven ability to interact, consult and build partnership with people at all levels of the organisation.

* Deep understanding of winning sales strategies and methodologies across multiple types (inside, field, strategic, etc.) 

Required experience:

* Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.

*  Multiple functions within sales teams including solutions/consultative sales-based experience.

* Demonstrated experience as a sales enablement trainer in a B2B setting.

* Experience building a ‘sales academy’ from scratch and significantly accelerating the maturity of a sales function, this will also include creating and embedding new documentation

* Experience across a range of sales technologies (e.g. Salesforce, ZoomInfo, High spot, etc).

* Understanding of the Finance/Accounting training marketplace.
