About the Role:

Reporting to the VP - Firm Services, you will lead the development and oversee execution of the AICPA & CIMA Emerging Professionals value proposition and strategy. Be a subject matter expert in identifying ways to support, develop, and engage Emerging Professionals in the accounting and finance profession. Develop the next generation of leaders in the profession through relationship building. Collaborating with a team focused on delivering enriching and value-add journeys, lead the Emerging Professional outreach through program management, communications and member relationships to cultivate affinity to the Association. Monitor issues impacting the profession and members’ top concerns, then lead in solution and opportunity identification for Emerging Professionals.

You Will:

  • Work with other subject matter experts and volunteers, redefine and strengthen the Emerging Professionals value proposition designed to create membership engagement and retention through targeted content and resources for Emerging Professionals.  Review goals and metrics against plan and adjust programs/activities to achieve membership growth, retention and satisfaction goals.
  • Lead the Association’s Emerging Professionals related events and programs: agenda development, speaker engagement  and other logistics to achieve financial and engagement goals.
  • Evaluate need for new or revamped programs as market needs are identified through development of a value proposition.
  • Be a staff liaison for Emerging Professionals Initiatives Committee (EPIC) and related task forces. Build relationships with future leaders in the profession and gain their insights through committee meeting planning and facilitation, minutes and action item management, coordination of committee activities and ensuring committee and task force overall meeting success and satisfaction.

You Have:

  • 7+ years of experience in the accounting profession. This experience can include a combination of experience in client service, firm management/ administration
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, communications, marketing, or related field
  • CPA designation
