Summary of Role:

Responsible for the global strategic development and management of Association Channel and Business to Business sales, focusing on sales enablement and commercial governance. Owns commercial relationships with Regional Vice Presidents and local on the ground business development team members. Has responsibility for centers of excellence in Global Commercial Controls and Third-Party Partnerships.

 

Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

  • Shares responsibility for revenue generation across the entirety of the Client and Partner Services team with the VP of Client and Partner Services and proxy for the VP when not available.
  • Creates and execute channel management and development strategy, Regions Growth strategy and Sales Enablement for all internal and external partners globally. 
  • Lead pan-Association collaboration to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive go to market strategy that clearly articulates the holistic value the Association can provide to client and partners including input into new product strategy as required. 
  • Build out data lead insight to support growth agenda, engaging broader Association resources as required to ensure a robust and complete metric set that drives actions. 
  • Direct development of impactful product marketing strategies and plans across the full portfolio to meet or exceed budgeted revenue and net contribution results.
  • Drive strategic marketing plan for channel and international B2B sales
  • Serve as the primary Client Experience point of contact for the CPA.com partnership.
  • Identify and cultivate new growth areas leveraging best practices for products both at the channel and SKU level.
  • Drive global expansion and growth of content and product licensing.
  • Conduct interviews, make hiring decisions, provide salary recommendations, monitor and assign work, coach, mentor and develop employees; develop work plans and conduct performance evaluations.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:

  • Ability to effective track and manage budgets
  • Ability to collaborate and lead cross functional teams
  • Ability to manage multiple projects
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including negotiation skills.
  • Strategic thinking and quantitative and analytical skills to synthesize customer and market insights into prioritized marketing opportunities
  • Demonstrated leadership over large scale marketing campaigns and initiatives that improve business results

 

Required Experience, Qualifications & Education:

  • 10+ years’ experience in business development, channel management or related field
  • 7-10 years of experience in marketing including experience in marketing planning and strategy development, program and project management and communications.
  • Experience in relationship building at high organizational levels and across functional boundaries
  • Experience quality systems and management, managing processes and managing and developing others
  • MBA or equivalent combination of education and experience

 

Preferred Experience, Qualifications & Education:

  • Understanding of the CPA profession or financial marketplace
  • Global business development or marketing experience
