Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required

         Demonstrated business judgment with a bottom-line orientation, management stature, and organizational acumen.

         Ability to think strategically and create the requisite operational processes, programs, efficiencies, and systems that support employee effectiveness and development.

         Strong interpersonal skills and executive presence with the demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively within the CAQ and AICPA, as well as with its members, Governing Board, vendors, and other key constituencies.

         Demonstrated management and leadership skills to gain the respect of staff and ensure that the team operates effectively and efficiently.

         Initiative, tact, maturity, and intellect to complement the team.

         Strong writing and editing skills.

Required Experience, Qualifications & Education

         Bachelor Degree in Business, Operations, or a related discipline.

         15 years’ experience in Human Resources and/or operations and administration, preferably gained through success in both professional services and association environments that includes interaction with sophisticated business leaders. 

         Demonstrated success identifying and implementing new and innovative internal organizational processes and efficiencies.

         Track record of developing and leveraging teams of administrative professionals: setting operational and performance goals, assigning priorities, managing workloads, and evaluating performance.

Preferred Experience, Qualifications & Education

Advanced degree a plus
