About the Role:

BRMs identify, define and document business processes and requirements to be developed. Understand the business, prioritising projects, ensuring that projects align with the technology that provides maximum return on investment, and directing IT strategy to support our strategy. You will be to connect IT to outcomes and value, by understanding the value of IT. You will report to Director – IT Portfolio Management

You Will:

  • Obtain an understanding of relevant business area(s) to recommend solutions and build high-quality requirements.

  • Create artefacts, including business case documentation, scope documentation, and process flow.

  • Use several techniques to understand our requirements, such as interviews, workshops, surveys, site visits, and storyboards.

  • Shape requirements by making recommendations and suggesting alternatives to proposed solutions.

  • Manage relationships between IT and its main partners.

  • Identify and help prioritise opportunities to improve processes

  • Understand technical options, limitations, costs, and risks.

  • Help resolve between team member groups by facilitating discussions and escalating issues.

  • Communicate tradeoffs to business partners and work with them to shape requirements accordingly.

  • Translate conceptual user requirements into precise, detailed functional requirements.

  • Manage requirements scoping throughout the delivery process.

  • Work with and delivery teams to prioritize needs.

  • Document current processes and models to understand inefficiencies or gaps.

  • Support delivery teams as they develop, test, and deploy solutions.

  • Lead small projects to assisting other project managers on larger more complex projects

  • Oversee the entirety of the relationship team and suggest large-scale strategies to improve efficiency and profitability

  • Promote a collaborative team environment and provide mentorship to junior-level analysts.

  • Address vendor and client complaints in a respectful, ensuring that IT maintains a positive image and provides high-quality services

  • Establish standards and procedures for project reporting and documentation

  • Review delivery team output to ensure requirements are correctly interpreted; execute test cases.

You Have:

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent years of experience).

  • [3-5] years of experience in business analysis.

  • Business analysis certification or similar.

  • Professional certification in project management.

  • Experience in "waterfall" and "agile" project management methodologies.

  • Experience in ITIL

  • Experience in product management experience
