Senior Manager - Communications & Public Relations
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:
- Planning and management skills
- Effective execution and management of communications efforts, including development of plans and tactics and coordination with team members and business owners
- Excellent communication and writing skills
- Strong decision making/judgment skills
- Commitment to high quality work product and strong relationships with team members and colleagues
- Ability to work independently and perform well under pressure to meet project deadlines and goals and resolve challenges
- Extremely strong interpersonal skills, ability to consult and bring internal “clients” to consensus, manage stress and conflict efficiently, and able to deal effectively with diverse groups
- Extra hours may be required to meet deadlines
- Ability to travel (post-COVID)
Required Experience, Qualifications & Education:
- Minimum 7-8 years’ experience in communications/public relations in a corporate or agency environment
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, communications, Public Relations or related field
Preferred Experience, Qualifications & Education:
- Master’s Degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Public Relations or a related field
- Experience and/or knowledge of the CPA profession and/or the financial services industry
