What You Will Have:

Extensive working knowledge of various auditing standards, including GAAS, PCAOB, ISA, QC, peer review and ethics requirements. Extensive knowledge with various industry audit content and related requirements from standard setting bodies and regulators. Knowledge of accounting standards and financial statement preparation. Experience with using electronic tools for performing audit and assurance engagements. Strong organization and project management skills/ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Capable of dealing effectively and efficiently with a diverse group of individuals. Ability/willingness to travel on an as needed basis (e.g., committee meetings, relevant AICPA conferences, etc.). Do you have extensive knowledge in developing methodology and guidance for audit engagements? This is what we are looking for as well, 7+ years of current (or recent past) public accounting, audit methodology development, or relevant experience that delivers strong understanding of the audit profession, assurance services, and business/financial reporting. Experience in performing audits of governmental entities including state and local financial statement audits, single audits, and other compliance audits.
