Summary of Role

Lead a marketing team responsible for promoting the membership value proposition to members for assigned segment and areas. Drive membership marketing strategies and campaigns aimed to contribute to the Institute’s goals in membership revenue and counts.

 

Accountabilities & Responsibilities

  • Lead and direct the development of the marketing strategy for recruitment and retention for assigned member section/area.

  • Manage and maintain a positive and collaborative relationship with business owners and key business partners to achieve common goals.

  • Lead and direct the development and execution of retention marketing campaigns and tactics.

  • Lead and direct the planning, organizing, motivating of resources, procedures and protocols to achieve specific goals of retention and special projects.

  • Provide insight and information regarding members, prospects and campaign effectiveness to measure performance and business decisions.

  • Oversee and manage assigned budgets 

  • Support IT, Finance and other teams to develop and refine online transactional processes to optimize the member experience and insure smooth join and renewal processes.

  • Analyze and identify opportunities for additional growth within designated areas and deploy resources effectively to achieve maximum results.

  • Achieve revenue, retention, and recruitment goals for specified credential holders.

  • Develop and lead cross-functional work groups as needed to develop and implement ideas for creating and communicating value.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Marketing Manager

  • Membership Marketing Coordinator or Specialist

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Experience working with internal and external supplier of research services

  • Self-motivated and highly detail oriented

  • Excellent problem solving skills

  • Ability to manage numerous projects, requests, employees and responsibilities

  • Demonstrated leadership, management and coaching skills

  • Superior organizational skills

 

Required Experience, Qualifications & Education

  • 8 years of experience developing and executing effective, integrated marketing campaigns and programs.

  • Extensive experience in developing and executing on marketing strategies
  • Extensive experience related in conducting, interpreting or applying market research

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or a related field

 

Preferred Experience, Qualifications & Education

  • Master’s Degree

  • Certified Public Accountant

  • Experience working with accounting professionals
