Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required

  • Extensive knowledge in communicating clearly and accurately in a way that is easily understood, regardless of the medium; adjusting style and content to appeal to the specific needs and comprehension level of the audience.

  • Extensive knowledge in pursuing and cultivating business relationships, partnerships and alliances internally and externally; leveraging network relationships to gather market intelligence and maintaining organizational relevancy.

  • Extensive knowledge in using professional expertise and business experience to influence and persuade a wide range of audiences on issues important to the profession.

  • Extensive knowledge in existing accounting and credential methods, tools, markets and market-related initiatives from the perspectives of the competition, the member base and the regulatory environment; able to apply this knowledge appropriately to remain relevant with AICPA's specialty credentials advantages.

  • Subject matter expertise in using business process improvement tools and techniques to understand, monitor, update, or enhance existing business or work processes.

  • Knowledge of Personal Financial Planning (PFP). 

  • General knowledge of the regulatory and standards landscape. 

  • Familiarity with personal financial planning accounting discipline subject matter and the typical CPA client relationship. 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. 

  • Ability to travel. 

     

Required Experience, Qualifications & Education

  • Minimum 7-8 years related experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field

 

Preferred Experience, Qualifications & Education

  • CPA designation

  • PFS or other financial planning credentialing
