Summary of Role
Increase and grow the student and member population in Sri Lanka by using digital marketing activities for promotion of CIMA, associated products and services in line with the global and regional business plan / strategy.
Additionally, will deliver presentations on CIMA and associated products to Schools, Universities, Institutes and Corporates to build and raise awareness of CIMA.
Accountabilities & Responsibilities
  • Digital Marketing   -  25%
    • Drive Digital marketing for CIMA using the latest technologies and taking ownership of the related campaigns.
    • Work closely with Line Manager on SM Strategy for CIMA Sri Lanka.
    • Manage online product and brand campaigns.
    • Evaluate market research, competitor information and related analytics.
    • Review new technologies and keep the company at the forefront of developments in digital marketing.
  • Assist with general marketing activities to achieve CIMA’s KPIs in line with long-term strategy  - 75%
    • Engage and partner with corporates in promoting CIMA qualification, products and services to their employees.
    • Identify new business opportunities and build strong business relationships with relevant stakeholders.
    • Recommend business development strategies for student recruitment through delivering CIMA’s products and services.
    • Organize student recruitment activities to increase students numbers and achieve target set.
    • Work closely with Member Services Department/Members for student conversion and grow membership base in Sri Lanka.
    • Identify the underperforming areas and proposes continuous improvement plan as effective business solution to fit the business needs.
    • Ensure all tuition providers and universities are supported to promote and the delivery of qualification with increased student progression rates.
  • Any other relevant responsibilities as required.

  • Strong understanding of current online marketing concepts, strategy and best practice

  • Good IT skills – Photoshop and Editing skills will be advantageous

Required Experience, Qualifications & Education

  • Minimum diploma or degree in Marketing or any equivalent field
  • 2-4 years experience in a related area including:  experience in a similar digital marketing role (Managing Social Media activities and campaigns) and experience in the education industry and selling “careers” to students.

Preferred Experience, Qualifications & Education

  • Proven advanced level of consultative sales experience will be advantageous
  • University Degree, CIM, CIMA or any other Professional Qualification
  • Education/Training industry experience will be advantageous
