Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required

  • Knowledge of contract law and ability to provide advice and guidance on contract terms.
  • Ability to take responsibility and be accountable for areas of responsibility and manage competing priorities.
  • Critical thinker with strong analytical skills and ability to grasp detail.
  • Strong drafting skills.
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to take responsibility and be accountable for areas of responsibility and manage competing priorities.
  • Strong, articulate and excellent inter-personal communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficient stakeholder management skills at all levels with confidence and professionalism.
  • Self-motivated; organised; adaptable and flexible; ability to work in demanding environment.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Word and Excel.

 

Required Experience, Qualifications & Education

  • Degree qualified and or equivalent qualification in contract law.
  • At least 3 years contract experience.
  • Capable and collaborative individual, able to achieve outcomes and meet challenging objectives.

 

Preferred Experience, Qualifications & Education

  • Experience of working in a membership, professional body or regulatory body.
  • Drafting experience, ideally in a contract law context.
