Summary of Role

Increase and grow the students and members population in Mumbai by promoting CIMA’s qualification, products and services in line with CIMA’s global and regional business plan and strategy


Accountabilities & Responsibilities

  • Engage and partner with corporations in promoting CIMA qualification, products and services to their employees.

  • Drive universities’ and general market’s activities in Mumbai to achieve CIMA’s KPIs in line with long-term strategy .

  • Work closely with the Line Manager to implement the market development strategies and plans across the organisation as necessary.

  • Identify new business opportunities and build strong business relationship with relevant stakeholders.

  • Pitch to potential universities including deans and senior lecturers as well as the general market through understanding the key business and CIMA’s added value to the organisation.

  • Devise business development strategies with major universities and general market for student recruitment through delivering CIMA’s products and services.

  • Organize student recruitment activities to increase students numbers and achieve targets.

  • Promote CIMA to potential students and ensure CIMA is the choice of professional qualification for students to pursue their career in Management Accountancy.

  • Work closely with Member Services Department/Members for student conversion and grow membership base in Western region of India.

  • Deliver career services across schools, higher educational institutes, colleges and universities to raise CIMA’s profile and increase brand awareness among students.

  • Identify the underperforming areas and proposes continuous improvement plan as effective business solution to fit the business needs.

  • Ensure all tuition providers and universities are supported to promote and the delivery of qualification with increased student progression rates.

  • Ensure to retain our students and their fulfilment in line with the stated objectives thus delivering high student satisfaction rates.

  • Review and maintains top accounts list in Client Relationship Management (CRM) system

  • Conduct analysis of on-going market and competitors to gauge positioning of CIMA in the market

  • Any other relevant responsibilities as required.

  • Display CIMA behaviours at all times.

Required Experience, Qualifications & Education

  • Minimum diploma or degree in Business Administration, Marketing or any equivalent field


Preferred Experience, Qualifications & Education

  • Proven in advanced level of consultative sales experience
