Summary of Role:

Perform operational activities supporting the enforcement and communication activities of the Professional Ethics Division, primarily involving the Professional Ethics Executive Committee (PEEC) and the Enforcement Subcommittee (ESC).  Coordinate cases going before the Joint Trial Board (JTB).  Liaise with PEEC members, ESC members and state CPA societies.

 

Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate PEEC meeting tasks, including CPE, minutes, agendas, polling, member payments, and volunteer central as well as monitor communications from PEEC.  (35%)
  • Perform support functions for enforcement-related activities.  (30%)
  • Coordinate the Joint Ethics Enforcement Program (JEEP) meeting and orientation tasks as well as monitor communications regarding JEEP.  (15%)
  • Assist with state board order research and state CPA society case report communications.  (10%)
  • Maintain division distribution lists.  (5%)
  • Maintain and order supplies.  (5%)

 

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • None

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:

  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment

 

Required Experience, Qualifications & Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
  • Minimum of 2-4 years’ experience in operations/support services role with similar responsibilities
