KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
  • In-depth understanding of user experience design principles and methodologies
  • Experience in a variety of research methodologies such as usability testing, funnel analysis, and competitive research
  • Good understanding of interface standards, usability, accessibility and interactivity
  • Background in information architecture, user-centered design and user testing
  • Experience creating low/hi fidelity prototypes with modern prototyping tools
  • Excellent organizational and presentation skills.
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of management and staff to achieve desired outcomes and build strong alliances and relationships
  • Problem solving/analysis
  • Teamwork and collaboration
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
  • Commitment to quality
  • Ability to interact with professionals at all levels of the organization and diplomatically manage relationships and political sensitivities
  • Problem solver (can resolve issues with little or no assistance) and able to adapt quickly to process changes.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
5+ years of experience as a User Experience designer or similar role
 
EDUCATION REQUIRED
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, Interactive Design or related field
 
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION PREFERRED
  • Experience creating pixel-perfect visual designs
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript, mobile/responsive design
  • Proficient in the following technologies: Adobe Creative Suite 5 (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) Acrobat and Dreamweaver;
