Summary of Role
Responsible for creating, building, and maintaining dynamic web pages, managing product pages through the e-commerce engine, create landing pages and specialized marketing digital assets, and working with business owners to optimize merchandising and user experience by performing the following duties.
 
Accountabilities & Responsibilities
  • Manages daily web production assignments as well as selects web projects and tracks for CPA.com and AICPA web properties.
  • Understands editorial, user, and business needs and translates those into product requirements serving as an expert in online production and coding providing expertise in front-end HTML and CSS.
  • Improves the online user experience by proactively recommending improvements based on analytics, troubleshooting issues and optimizing internal workflows, and processes.
  • Exhibits excellent communication skills working autonomously with marketing, sales, and engineering teams to build and maintain front-end digital assets.
  • Manages project designs and development workflows, sets expectations, defines scope and timelines, and provides regular and ad hoc status updates in an effective and concise manner.
  • Perform additional duties as required

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Knowledge of content management systems, Adobe Creative Suite (Dreamweaver and Photoshop) and Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).

Required Experience, Qualifications & Education

  • Two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Specialized Training including

  • HTML                                           HTML5 / CSS3 (a plus)

  • Drupal (a plus)                             CSS

  • JavaScript                                    Mobile Development (a plus)

  • jQuery                                           Responsive design (a plus)

  • Analytics Tools (a plus)                PHP (a plus)
