Accountabilities & Responsibilities

    Partnership Engagement and Retention

·       Serve as the primary “Accounting+” partnership liaison for the CAQ. Responsible for fostering ongoing relationships while identifying and cultivating new partnerships.

·       Support the VP, Operations and Talent Initiative to increase commitment and engagement of current partners.

·       Identify, cultivate, and steward new partnerships through research and relationship building, and develop a portfolio of Accounting+ partner prospects.

·       Perform research analysis to provide summarized reports for partnership engagement.

·       Partner with our internal communications and marketing teams to create and deliver personalized communication and engagement plans for each prospective partner.  

·       Provide written communications and reports to funding partners and staff.

·       Leverage new and existing events to recruit prospects.  

·       Utilize CAQ’s subject matter experts and organizational representatives to further relationships with supporters and prospects. 

·       Maintain partner information and data to ensure accuracy and completeness.

·       Track member engagements and touchpoints in Salesforce, and in a newly developed ‘Catalyst by Blackbaud’ platform, to generate reports, identify trends, and drive positive business outcomes.

Project Management

·       Coordinate contracts with funders and partners, overseeing contractual commitments throughout project implementation.

·       Work closely with the Sr. Manager, Administration and Finance to monitor expenditures of partnership funds.

·       Provide administrative support to the VP, Operations & Talent Initiatives, including maintaining calendar, scheduling and coordinating all meetings, and drafting and managing follow-up.

·       Assists in providing customer support for in-person and virtual events, registration support, and coordinating logistics for conferences, meetings, registrations, and events.

Presentations and Data Visualization

·       Develop visually compelling presentations to communicate key performance metrics, trends, and insights to stakeholders and partners.

·       Interpret and distill research and data points into actionable insights through intuitive visualization techniques.

·       None

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required

·       Demonstrated customer relations/sales/account management skills.

·       Exceptional interpersonal skills, professionalism, and ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders. 

·       An entrepreneurial spirit and a track record showing initiative and ownership of work.

·       Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

·       Skilled with project management; able to use tools such as calendars (e.g., Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint), work plans, and timelines to coordinate meetings and deadlines.

·       Meticulous attention to detail and superior organization.

·       High level of humility and integrity. 

·       Strong client service ethic.

Required Experience, Qualifications & Education

·       Bachelor’s degree in fundraising, or any related field.

·       3-5 years’ experience in a value-focused relationship management environment such as membership, gifts fundraising or sales support experience.

·       Experience using Salesforce.

·       Strong proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, notably Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

·       Demonstrated knowledge and use of digital, social media & emerging online channels.
