Director - Global Stakeholder Engagement
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
· Current and relevant knowledge of:
o Global landscape of the public accounting profession and economic/regulatory environments;
o Financial markets issues, trends, stakeholders, and dynamics, particularly with a global focus; and
o Global political climate.
· Established network of relevant contacts, and demonstrated ability to interface effectively with stakeholders
· Ability to think strategically and identify multi-faceted outreach programs with compelling and technically accurate content/messages.
· Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively within the CAQ, as well as with its members and other key constituencies.
· Analytical thinking, specifically ability to derive meaningful insights regarding global issues impacting public company auditing.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
· 8 - 10 years’ experience in public policy development, preferably with a mix of experience in both public and private organizations (i.e., federal agencies, trade associations, corporations, not-for-profit organizations) with emphasis on engaging in and leading collaborative policy efforts with other external organizations.
EDUCATION REQUIRED
· Undergraduate degree in Business, Political Science, Public Policy, or related discipline; preferred
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION PREFERRED
· Advanced degree
- Active CPA license
