Lead Assessment UX Designer
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
· In-depth understanding of user experience design principles and methodologies
· Experience in a variety of research methodologies such as usability testing, funnel analysis, and competitive research
· Good understanding of interface standards, usability, accessibility and interactivity
· Background in information architecture, user-centered design and user testing
· Experience creating low/hi fidelity prototypes with modern prototyping tools
· Ability to pragmatically balance tradeoffs and exercise mature judgment toward optimally balanced solutions
· Continuous learner, taking on knew knowledge and skills through a variety of sources, including formal training, reading, experimentation, innovation, and careful observation
· Excellent organizational and presentation skills.
· Ability to communicate with all levels of management and staff to achieve desired outcomes and build strong alliances and relationships
· Problem solving/analysis
· Teamwork and collaboration
· Excellent communication and writing skills
· Commitment to quality
· Ability to interact with professionals at all levels of the organization and diplomatically manage relationships and political sensitivities
· Problem solver (can resolve issues with little or no assistance) and able to adapt quickly to process changes.
· Excellent organizational and time management skills
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
● 6-8 years’ experience with user experience design or equivalent
EDUCATION REQUIRED
· Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, Interactive Design or related field
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION PREFERRED
● Degree in a design-related curriculum
● 5 years or more experience in assessment-related work
