Summary of Role

Partner with business owners to advise across brand positioning, identity and activation to build, grow and protect our brands and support the delivery of a differentiating brand experience.

As part of a global brand Center of Excellence, this position is responsible for developing and enhancing its capabilities by working closely with business owners and regional marketing managers to ensure they have the skills, tools and knowledge to embed the brand at a local level.

 

Accountabilities & Responsibilities

·         Works closely with Senior Manager–Accounts and Associate Director, Communications, Advertising and Brand Management to own and develop key client relationships

·         Manages brand projects and campaigns from end to end, collaborating with agency teams, staff and internal clients to deliver high quality work with results

·         Brings forward-thinking ideas, applies insights and offers big picture thinking to projects and programs, and counsels business owners on brand considerations and makes recommendations

·         Consults with client to identify marketing requirements and ensures the work meets the client’s strategies.

·         Utilizes project management skills from intake to debrief working collaboratively across strategy, planning, designers, production and the wider integrated communications team

·         Collaboratively generates workable concepts and ideas for marketing campaigns, online efforts, print promotions, events and conferences, videos, and general Association communications

·         Performs market research, oversees, and reviews all projects from concept through completion, and signs off on all work prior to client presentation.

·         Works with key stakeholders on the development and implementation of the Association brand to provide clear direction consistent with legal and executive direction.

·         Promotes team’s creative culture by meeting with other Creative Solutions staff in an effort to share ideas, trends and other creative topics.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required

·         Excellent communication skills with the ability to make persuasive client presentations

·         World class end to end project management skills

·         Ability to create, develop and sustain effective client relationships and be an effective business partner

·         Strong business acumen, research and analytical skills and strategic thinking

·         Ability to work collaboratively and build consensus among various communications team members and technical specialists

·         Ability to handle stressful situations and deadline pressures well.

·         Ability to consult and bring internal clients to consensus.

·         Ability to develop comprehensive, integrated marketing communications plans and campaigns

·         Ability to think creatively and innovatively, and translate technical information into user-friendly communications

·         Ability to work independently and perform well under pressure to meet project deadlines and goals and resolve challenges

·         Knowledge of brand management, social media strategy and implementation, and market research

·         Familiarity with the latest trends, technologies and methodologies in graphic design, web design, production, etc

·         Motivated, flexible, goal-oriented, team player, persistent and a skilled negotiator.

·         Ability to articulate and present creative concepts logically, both internally and externally.

 

Required Experience, Qualifications & Education

·         Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field or equivalent

·         At least 5 years of account management experience with an emphasis in Brand Marketing

·         Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat, and Outlook.

 

Preferred Experience, Qualifications & Education

 

·         Previous B-to-C marketing communications experience

·         Familiarity with the accounting and finance field
