Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required: 

  • Thorough knowledge of grammar, publishing styles, and publishing conventions
  • Familiarity with Chicago Manual of Style and Associated Press Stylebook
  • Strong editing skills
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with application of pedagogy to learning and competency products
  • Ability to manage priorities and projects under tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy and quality
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (including Word and PowerPoint)
  • Maintain productive working relationships with writers, designers, and other editors
  • Ability to break complex topics into digestible and understandable text

Required Experience, Qualifications & Education: 

  • Minimum 4-6 years of experience in an editorial role.

Preferred Experience, Qualifications & Education: 

  • Experience with editorial roles in accounting, finance, law or service professions.
