Lead Specialist - State Society Affairs
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:
- Strong organizational and communication skills (oral and written)
- Well-skilled in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Teams and Excel
- Ability to learn new technologies and help others in using these tools
- Knowledge of legislative and regulatory processes, particularly at the federal government level
- Ability to multitask and juggle various projects involving internal and external stakeholders in multiple time zones
- Ability to assist with off-site conference planning and execution, including availability to travel 1-2 times/year
- Basic understanding of data entry and payment processing
- Basic knowledge of association structure/association management
Required Experience, Qualifications & Education:
- 1 year experience in fast-paced, multi-project environment, with expertise in managing simultaneous workstreams effectively
- Bachelor’s degree
