About the Role:

You will promote communication between members in public accounting firms and the Association. You will deliver Private Company Practice Section (PCPS) strategic plans. You will be curious about developments in public accounting, members' top concerns and identify possible solutions or resources for PCPS members, talking to them to explain our member benefits and resources. You can work on a remote-friendly, basis, or from our office in Durham, NC. You will be reporting to the Senior Manager - Firm Services.

You Will:

Develop and review targeted firm practice management content and tools for PCPS members ensuring relevancy across several firm sizes. Project management will include developing plans to promote and promote member engagement.

Collaborate with applicable internal Association teams to provide the CPA firm perspective and to drive PCPS membership.

Review marketing and member messaging to ensure consistency and relevancy across different firm sizes with a clear tone.

Represent Association and PCPS at virtual and in-person conferences throughout the USA by exhibiting PCPS materials, interacting with conference attendees, presenting to groups on practice management topics and associated resources and explaining the value of PCPS membership.

Keep current on developments in the accounting profession both nationally and globally; monitor and stay up to date with hot topics and emerging issues in the profession and what it means for firms and our members.

Help maintain the Association's understanding of the ever-evolving firm practice management landscape.

You Have:

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field

CPA designation and are active in the Association, State Society or CPAFMA.

3+ years' related experience in a CPA or professional services firm or a Firm Administrator with 5+ years experience working at a CPA firm. Equivalent experience at the Association or a State CPA Society may be considered as an alternative to work in a professional services firm.

Flexibility to travel on a frequent basis.

The Salary Range for this role is: $82,000 to $105,300
