Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required

High quality generalist, with demonstrated communications expertise.

Ability to develop comprehensive, integrated communications plans based on strategic thinking and aligned messaging consistent with Association thought leadership.

Expertise in brand strategy, positioning and deployment and advertising

Expertise in social media strategy and implementation

Management of communications campaigns, including execution of plans and tactics and counsel to team members and business owners

Superb writing, presentation, interpersonal and project management skills

Ability to function effectively in a high pressure, multi-task environment

Communications planning and management skills and strong writing that shows comfort with technical subject matter and ability to explain complex technical information in user-friendly language.

Ability to develop insights to drive higher quality work.
Required Experience, Qualifications & Education

7-10 years’ experience in communications/public relations in a corporate or agency environment
-
Experience in leading large-scale campaigns and projects, and full-scale management of brands, social media and a broad array of communications vehicles.
Preferred Experience, Qualifications & Education

Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Public Relations or a related field
