Senior Manager - Curriculum Writing

About the Role:

Oversee the creation and updates of original, compelling, high-quality accounting and finance education content following the Association’s value propositions and product-specific learning objectives. Apply strengths and advantages of pedagogical methods, and review curriculum content appropriate to the delivery format. Collaborate with content strategists and colleagues around the world to ensure final deliverables meet established go-to-market strategies, learning journeys and tone of voice.

You Will:

             Lead a team of people, following the Association’s Management Charter, with managing people being the primary responsibility.

             Apply and share the latest understanding of writing for online learning, including instructional methods, module structuring and student accessibility.

             Guide a team to develop technical content, learning content and courses that align with strategy and achieve project objectives for revenue.

             Plan and allocate internal and external staff time for expected projects on a yearly cycle.

             Manage partner relationships from across the organization, securing support.

             Collaborate with technical publishing managers, learning consultants, learning designers, contracts team and operations team to identify and hire external authors and subject matter experts.

             Champion tone of voice with partners, communicating the value and demonstrating best practice.

             Adapt and share future content approaches based on incoming content performance data.

             Ensure all content are aligned with branding system for products and services.

             Ensure all content is following content strategist plans and targeted outcomes.

You Have:

             CPA licensure with at least seven years of experience in public accounting or auditing

             Bachelor’s degree

             Hands-on experience learning design writing and curriculum development.

             Manager-level experience reviewing content, presenting concepts and partner feedback.

             Experience in adapting complex technical and business subjects into clear, engaging learning objectives.

             Experience in consulting with and bringing internal clients to consensus.

             Familiarity in NASBA compliance requirements
