Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required
- Strong knowledge of federal tax law
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Knowledge of tax legislative and regulatory processes
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong project management skills and the proven ability to multi-task
- Ability to deliver creative and innovative ideas to build or enhance Tax Division strategic initiatives
- Capable of working effectively with a diverse group of individuals
Required Experience, Qualifications & Education
- Minimum of 8-10 years of related experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- CPA designation
Preferred Experience, Qualifications & Education
- Masters in Taxation or law degree
- Relevant experience at the Association is taken into consideration (for internal candidates only)
- Activity in Association and/or state CPA society committees
