About the Role:
Responsible for tax compliance, supporting the regions covered by the Association ( the US, UK, Europe, APAC and Africa) with an emphasis on indirect tax (VAT/GST/Sales Tax). Collaborate and support wider tax matters with the Tax Leads of each region as part of the global tax team. You will report to Lead Tax Manager – Tax (KL)
You Will:
- Support with the preparation and filing of VAT/GST/Sales Tax returns in different jurisdictions (UK, US, Europe, APAC, Africa)
- Support with direct tax and WHT filings
- Assess existing tax compliance processes, suggesting and implementing improvements, establishing and documenting processes
- Analyse transactions for proper indirect tax, including reverse charge VAT; partner with IT and other teams to address issues and ensure accurate reporting
- Complete monthly reconciliations of tax accounts
- Respond to tax queries from within the business
- Support on global tax projects
- Monitor sales activities and help file registrations
You Have:
- Higher level education or certification in Tax and Accounting
- In-house experience
- Knowledge in using a tax engine such as Vertex
- Corporation tax experience
- Oracle ERP experience
- Transfer pricing experience
