IT Training Manager

About the Role:

The IT Training Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our internal stakeholders are well-equipped to use technology effectively. This will drive a smoother service for our stakeholders and technical teams. This role will report into Senior Manager - IT Client Services.

Job Responsibilities:

Training Program Planning and Monitoring

• Materials Creation: Developing training materials, including manuals, presentations, and e-learning modules.

• Classroom and Virtual Training: Conducting formal classroom sessions and virtual training for staff.

• Train-the-Trainer: Preparing trainers to deliver consistent content across the organization.

• Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate records of training sessions and attendance.

• Compliance: Ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and company policies.

Content Development and Delivery

• Provide feedback on vendor service performance across the supply chain to ensure adherence to contractual obligations, following stakeholder training

• Contribute to monthly performance service review meetings with key stakeholders.

• Lead monthly training reviews with IT Leadership.

• Assist in the creation of monthly IT Newsletters, ensuring training content is included

• Lead adhoc training sessions with stakeholders.

• Proactively develop IT trainer pages on company intranet

• Project Coordination: Working with IT teams to plan and implement training initiatives during system upgrades or new software rollouts

Technical Expertise

• System Familiarization: Understanding IT systems, software, and tools.

• Troubleshooting: Working with technical teams, address technical issues and providing training solutions.

• Contribute to continuously develop and refine IT processes and procedures based on the ITIL framework.

You Have:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Broad-based IT and business experience, conducting IT training in a medium to large organization.

• Ability to influence change without authority through collaboration and training

• Adept at presenting complex information in straightforward terms to a range of audiences

• Demonstrate experience in building relationships with and influencing stakeholders

• Experience working with different levels within the organization

• Experience in working with Managed Service Providers

• Understands how IT training supports and enables the business and IT

• Understands the potential of AI and analytics
