About the Role:

You will manage, implement, and improve quality assurance (QA) outcomes through the planning, control and execution of testing to support multiple methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, Waterfall and Hybrid processes. You will work with multiple partners to ensure organizational goals are met. You will report to the Manager - Quality Assurance & Release. You will specialize in the QA for Oracle and Peer Review. You will work either from our offices in Durham, NC, or remotely.

You Will:

Identify and report defects, bugs, and other issues in the software and work with the development team to resolve these issues.

Create test plans, test cases, and test scripts. Use a variety of testing tools and methodologies to ensure that the product meets the necessary quality standards.

Be responsible for continuous improvement of the testing process, new methodologies and tools to improve the quality of the product.

Champion quality assurance (QA) process and work with the development team to ensure that the software meets the necessary quality standards

Be involved in strategic planning for the project, work with the development team and other partners to ensure that the project goals are met.

Communicate with external partners such as clients and end-users to gather feedback on the software product and to provide updates on the testing process.

You will work as part of a planned on-call schedule and may also be required to work outside of regular business hours on occasion.

You Have:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.

3 years+ experience in software quality assurance

Experience in manual and automated testing.

Experience with software quality assurance principles and methodologies.

Experience developing and executing test plans.

Familiarity with defect tracking/management and performance /load testing tools.

Experience troubleshooting and providing solutions to technical problems

The Salary Range for this role is:  $60k to $65k
